Monday Minyan Mapquest Monday mornings, following morning minyan- Rabbi Lubliner leads a brief teaching from our foundational text.

Talmud Class Mondays at NEW TIME: 7:15 p.m. An ongoing, leisurely paced analysis of law and lore in tractate Bava Metzia in an intimate setting with Rabbi Lubliner.  The class meets in the JJC Sunbeam Road facility on 4072 Sunbeam Road.  (no class on May 7)   NOTE: our May 28th class will meet at the home of Rabbi Lubliner (2849 Spanish cove Trail) at 6:30 pm.  Please note, the next class will take place on Monday, June 4 at 7:30 PM at the Sunbeam Road facility. This will be the last class for the month. The next class is scheduled for Monday, July 2 at 7:30 PM at the Sunbeam Road Facility.

Foundations of Judaism Sundays from 10:15 a.m. to 12 Noon- Taught by lay and professional teachers from the Center community, classes will excite and inform through lively discussion and activities. The course consists of seven 4-week units, including topics such as: Jewish Spirituality, Sacred Books, Jewish Time, Contemporary Judaism in America, Ethics & Values, and more. Open to the entire community.

May 4:  Oneg Service  On the first Friday of every month, we invite everyone to enjoy a later Friday service, including a topic of Jewish interest, more English than other services, monthly birthday & anniversary celebrations for those present, and an opportunity to schmooze with friends over refreshments after services.  This month, Rabbi Lubliner will lead us through “The Where, When, Whys of Jewish Day Schools”: A Brief History of Jewish Day School Education in America. The Oneg service is held at a later time on the first Friday of every month, in addition to our regularly scheduled Friday evening service.

May 12: Jewish Meditation Shabbat Morning  Second Shabbat of every month – Invite your soul to enter in an extended moment of stillness. Beginners welcome.   9:15 am

May 12:  Rabbi Reuven Hammer will speak from the pulpit during services about “Jerusalem: the History and Mystery”.  Join us for a “Lunch and Learn” immediately following the service, as he discusses revelations from his book, The Torah Revolution: 14 Truths That Changed the World.  Please see more information under “Special Events”.  Open to all!

May 19:  Coffee & Torah Third Shabbat of every month – Come enjoy a strong cup of brew, a tasty breakfast treat, and thought-provoking insights into the weekly Torah portion in the intimate setting of Rabbi Lubliner’s office.
